Conclusion Questions
1. This study has made me realize that design elements/principles are used together in many different ways (much more than I had previously thought) and are combined with each other to provide visual appeal that is greater than the mere sum of the individual design elements/principles.
2. Based on my newfound understanding of visual design elements/principles, I will most likely look at the world with eyes that can identify the persuasiveness of a product to a greater extent than before by analyzing each individual design element/principle and determining what its specific purpose was. This will lead me to be able to understand more about a product just by the way it looks.
3. A lot of visual design principles/elements attempt to invoke elements of the natural world (i.e. flowing waves, asymmetrical balance), and in doing so, present an unconsciously favorable appeal of their product. However, other visual design principles/elements attempt to go against natural world characteristics, to construct a more "professional" and "precise" idea in the viewer of the product(s).
